Friday (5-6-16) Mike and Amy joined me and Karen for a tour of the Amphibious Assault Ship USS Baatan (LHD 5) in Port Everglades. The Navy’s Fleet Week hit town along with the Air Show. It was a fun-filled weekend.

Friday night is free music night on the beach in Ft. Lauderdale and we caught Jesse Jones, Jr. blowing some mean sax with his band 4-29-2016. The City puts on these shows and they are a cool way to wind down the week.

Wednesday evening (4-20-16) Karen and I took a dinner cruise to the Quarterdeck on the Dania Pier for dinner. The moon was full, the wind was howling and the variation of boats we encountered drove home the point that size does matter.
