Friday (5-20-16) we packed a picnic dinner and headed for the beach to hear SUENALO liven up the sands with their high energy Latin Fusion. The music won over a sparse crowd that braved the menacing storm front that loomed above the shoreline.

Friday (5-6-16) Mike and Amy joined me and Karen for a tour of the Amphibious Assault Ship USS Baatan (LHD 5) in Port Everglades. The Navy’s Fleet Week hit town along with the Air Show. It was a fun-filled weekend.

Friday night is free music night on the beach in Ft. Lauderdale and we caught Jesse Jones, Jr. blowing some mean sax with his band 4-29-2016. The City puts on these shows and they are a cool way to wind down the week.
