CYCLING CHARLOTTE’S SIGHTS

After weeks of relentless heat and humidity, Saturday’s deluge brought cooler temperatures followed by a picture-perfect Sunday (7-9-18). Karen and I broke out our folding bikes and headed uptown to cycle Charlotte’s sights and soak up the day.

Chugging homeward from Missouri our first stop was Chattanooga, Tennessee. Chattanooga is a Cherokee word that means, “Rock coming to a point.” It’s refers to Lookout Mountain across the Tennessee River that snakes through the city.
