Karen and I headed to The Rockies on 8-8-15 to sell copies of my third novel Ski Bum Chronicles at the Winter Park Beer Festival, which is in Grand County, Colorado where the story took place. I manned our booth and Karen donned her beer hat to work the crowd.

This business trip came with the huge benefit of getting to reminisce with friends who worked with me at Snow Mountain Ranch when I was living the ski bum dream, and seeing friends who have moved to Colorado from Texas.

The beer, music and weather could not have been better for this event. We may have to make a run for the high country again next year.

We rented a big condo across the street from the Winter Park Beer Festival and hosted a party for all our former friends. Stay tuned for more pics of those familiar faces. Karen and I want to thank each and every one of you for coming out to see us. It was a high time in The Rockies, indeed!
